Moscow: We take US suggestions about Ukraine, but we do not accept
The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister said his country takes US proposals on Ukraine, but cannot easily accept them in the current format.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said Tuesday, referring to US suggestions on the Ukrainian crisis: “Russia has not heard of a signal from Kiev to end the war from Donald Trump.”
“All that exists today is an attempt to find a design that allows them to first access the ceasefire as Americans think and then go to some other plans that do not include the main claim, namely, the root solving of problems related to the conflict,” the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister said.
“We take the plans and solutions of the Americans very seriously, but we can’t accept them in their own present form,” Ryabkov said in an interview with International Life.
“These plans and suggestions do not include Russia’s main demand, which includes the radical resolution of this crisis,” he said.
