Washington Post: Europe is thinking of sending navy and air to Ukraine

European countries are now increasingly thinking of sending “maritime and air deterrents” to Ukraine, as there are restrictions on widespread deployment of ground forces, ISNA reported. Some countries have announced their readiness to help patrol the Ukrainian sky or the Black Sea.

The diplomats announced that European countries intend to send a military evaluation team to Ukraine in the coming weeks to determine the amount of forces needed to establish possible establishment.

French President Emmanuel Macron said on Thursday that a number of countries would like to send troops to Ukraine as “deterrent forces”.

He emphasized that the French -British initiative would neither replace Ukrainian forces nor a peace guardian. The purpose of this move is to deteriorate Russia by establishing forces at strategic points.

Earlier this month, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said suggestions about the possible presence of peacekeepers in Ukraine are similar to an attempt to save the Kiev regime.

The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service announced last year that the West plans to deploy a force called the “Peace Hafiz forces” in Ukraine to restore the country’s combat capability.
