Reactions to Tel Aviv’s crime to testify to 2 rescuers in Gaza – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news
The Zionist occupation troops targeted a horrific crime of rescue and civil defense teams with closed hands in Rafah and martyred four of them, Mehr News Agency quoted the Palestinian Information Center as saying. The bodies of these martyrs, after eight days of search, were discovered in the Tal al -Sultan Rafah area and transferred to Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunus.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement that eight martyrs were rescuers who were shooting while carrying out human duty and first aid to the injured. Another rescuer is still missing. Also, six civil defense staff and a UN employee have died in the attack.
The Gaza Ministry of Health announced that some of the bodies discovered had bullets in the chest and signs of torture. The ministry also emphasized that some martyrs were deliberately buried in a mass grave to make it difficult to find.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society and human rights organizations described the move as an obvious war crime and called for international investigations and punishment for its perpetrators. The institutions emphasized that the attack on rescuers and ignoring international medical badges is explicit violation of international law and humanitarian rights.
With the testimony of these rescuers, the number of martyrs of the Palestinian Red Crescent population in Gaza has reached five, all of which were targeted by the occupiers during their human duties.
