New US sanctions against Hezbollah
The United States on Friday imposed new sanctions against five individuals and three institutions in relation to Hezbollah.
In a statement, the US State Department claimed that the sanctions had targeted the Hezbollah financial team.
According to the ministry, the team “oversees trade projects and oil trafficking networks and makes money for the group.”
The statement also claimed that target individuals include family members and relatives of prominent Hezbollah officials.
