Cruise missile shooting from Russian submarine in the Japanese Sea exercise
The Russian state -owned News agency reported that a submarine of the Navy’s Pacific Fleet fired a cruise missile during a training in the Japanese Sea.
“During a planned exercise, the Diesel-Alaic Efa submarine fired cruise missiles into maritime and coastal targets in the Japanese Sea regional waters,” the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
The ministry also said in a statement that all the fabricated targets in the exercise were hit and the shooting of more than 5 kilometers.
The ministry also said that the Russian Navy has operated Ofa’s diesel-electric submarine in November.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the submarine is 2 meters long and can carry up to 3 tonnes. This submarine can go deep to 3 meters deep.
