New US sanctions against Iran
The US Treasury Department boycotted three Iranians by repeating its allegations.
According to RCO News Agency, the US Treasury Department’s Foreign Asset Control Office, in collaboration with the FBI, on Tuesday, imposed sanctions against three Iranians who claimed to have been involved in “the abduction, arrest and death of” Robert Levinson “, the special FBI agent.
Washington claimed that Reza Amiri Moghaddam, Gholamhossein Mohammadnia and Taghi Daneshvar had been sanctioned, claiming that these were officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence.
The United States claims that Levinson was abducted in Iran in year 6. The Iranian Foreign Ministry, however, rejects the claim that according to valid documents, he had left Iran for an unknown destination, and Washington had previously acknowledged the fact.
