Cancellation of Biden and Harris security licenses with Trump’s order

US President Donald Trump on Friday ordered the cancellation of Joe Biden’s security permits, his family, and former Vice President Kamala Harris, which will no longer be allowed to access classified information.

“I have come to the conclusion that their access to classified information is no longer in the national interest,” Trump issued the order.

Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Biden’s Foreign Minister Anthony Blainone, and former White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan are on the list.

Trump in addition to calling for the abolition of “unattended access” to the US government security facilities.

According to the Paltiko Magazine, it is unclear what official security licenses are on the list.

Trump had previously announced his intention to cancel Biden’s security license in February, and US National Intelligence Director Tulse Gabard said on March 5 that he had canceled Blainkon’s access, Litia James, and others on the basis of Trump’s order.

Trump’s move follows that Joe Biden also banned Trump’s access to confidential documents in the year that he cannot be trusted because of “irrational behavior”.

Former US presidents and some senior security officials are usually preserved as a diplomatic custom.
