Lebanese President Joseph Aoun said in a speech with today’s Zionist regime’s tensions at the border with his country: What happened today in southern Lebanon is a continuation of long -term attacks on us and a blow to the country’s rescue project.

The Lebanese president further urged related forces in the south to pursue today’s events and prevent its consequences.

Joseph Aoun added: “I urge the relevant forces in the south (Lebanon) to control any violations or negligence that can threaten the nation.

The Lebanese president then urged the army commander to take steps to protect citizens and examine what happened.

He also condemned efforts to bring Lebanon back to the cycle of violence.
