Armenian Media: Pasinian has ordered to revive government institution relations with Russia
An Armenian media reported that the prime minister has ordered government agencies to recover and strengthen relations with Russia.
Prime Minister Nicole Pashinian has ordered all government agencies to re -establish relations with Russian counterparts and active participation in joint events in response to recent geopolitical changes, ISNA reported.
According to the report, the ruling Armenian Party, called the Party Party of Party, was expected to travel to Moscow to participate in the Grand Parade of May on May 9, and the party’s officials hopes to clarify the future of the Armenian government with Russian leaders.
The Heraparak newspaper reported that the decision was followed by Russia’s willingness to strengthen its influence in the region. Moscow also responded a cautious response to Pashinian efforts to repair the cold relationships of the parties and sent the signal that expects tangible steps from Yerevan instead of political gestures.
An example of Russia’s thoughtful response to Armenia is the delay in the visit of the Russian Federation’s Valentina Matvinko trip to Yerevan, which was originally planned for February, but was delayed until June.
According to the newspaper, the delay is a sign of Moscow’s doubt in fulfilling the full efforts of Armenia without providing its document.
It has also been reported that Russia’s conditions for restoring cooperation with Armenia will probably include the planned referendum on its European integration.
According to the Armenian media, the delay in reviewing the bill on the referendum and speculation recently raised about its possible cancellation reflects the Russian leverage of Armenia to test the seriousness and honesty of Yerevan’s foreign policy.
