New US sanctions on Iranian personalities and institutions – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news

The US Treasury Department announced that it has imposed new sanctions against some personalities, institutions and several Iranian ships, according to the Mehr News Agency.

The statement said that “today (Thursday), the United States has imposed the fourth round of sanctions against Tehran on the basis of the Presidential National Security Note and the Campaign of President Trump against Iran to target Iranian oil sales.”

According to a statement by the US Treasury Department, Washington today added “one China citizen, two companies and two Iranian -related companies” to the list of sanctions against Tehran.

The statement claimed that most sanctions companies are based in China. Ships have also been boycotted, under the flag of various countries, including Panama, Comor and Barbados.
