Former Iraqi Prime Minister went to Yemen – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news
According to RCO News Agency, some media outlets are reporting the visit of the former Iraqi prime minister to Yemen, in the wake of the US-led Western-Hebrew-based tensions in the region.
Former Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi arrived in Sanaa, the capital of Yemen, to be part of Iraq’s mediation to reduce tensions in the region.
Al -Majar also quoted Yemeni sources as saying that the meeting was carried out within the framework of mediating efforts to transfer US offers to Yemenis on the Red Sea.
The source added that Abdul Mahdi went to Yemen with a message from the United States and made new suggestions to the Yemenis to restrict tensions in the area after the Yemeni army was reported in the Red Sea.
Meanwhile, the Yemeni army has earlier announced that in response to the resumption of the Zionist invasion of the oppressed people of Gaza, it would begin its military operations against ships related to Quds occupiers in the Red Sea.
