Zelksky’s claim to be Russia’s lack of a limited ceasefire
The Ukrainian president claimed that Russia did not adhere to the ceasefire after the Russian and US leaders’ agreement on the halt to attacks on energy infrastructure.
According to RCO News Agency, Ukrainian President Walodimir Zelksky said during a trip to Finland and at a joint press conference with the Scandinavian President Alexander Stab: “The reality that Vladimir Putin has not attacked the infrastructure is to some extent.”
“Even last night, after Putin’s conversation with Trump and when Putin said, the Ukrainian energy infrastructure was ordered, four night drones, including against the energy facilities, were fired,” Zlansky claimed.
Zelnsky’s claim came as the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Russian army received a command from the Russian president to stop attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure following an agreement on Tuesday.
“At that time there were seven Russian drones in the air to attack the energy infrastructure in Miculav, which were related to the Ukrainian defense industry,” said a statement from the Russian Defense Ministry. “The Russian air defense was ordered to overthrow the drones, and the Panther Air Defense System and a Russian Air Force jet overthrew six of them.”
The Kremlin, on the other hand, mutually accused Ukraine of not adhering to the ceasefire on the energy infrastructure, and insisted that Kiev had arranged an attack on equipment close to one of his pipelines.
Zelksky said in a press conference in the Finnish capital that he believed the Ukraine war would end in year 6.
He claimed: “I believe that this year the war will end in a proper and decent peace. “We need security guarantees for Ukraine because otherwise Putin will come back with a war again.”
Zelksky also announced his plan to talk to US President Donald Trump late Wednesday.
Zelnsky said he expects more details on Tuesday’s conversation with Trump about Tuesday’s telephone conversation with Putin over the ceasefire and discuss the next steps.
“Ukraine will not recognize the Russian -occupied areas as Russian, and this is a red line,” Zelnsky continued. We will definitely win this war. Today I will have a call with Trump. “
The Ukrainian president also said: “Without US intelligence support, we will lose accuracy of the flight of Russian Bastic Missiles, but we have our own intelligence capabilities. “If Russia stops attacks on our goals, we will definitely stop attacks on their goals.”
The Ukrainian president said his country would abide by stopping attacks on energy installations if an agreement will be reached during the upcoming technical meeting with the United States in Saudi Arabia.
“If such an agreement reaches such an agreement, there will be a list of facilities,” he said. “If Russia does not attack our facilities, we will certainly not attack their facilities.”
Zelnski said Kiev is looking to work on a mechanism to monitor the ceasefire.
Alexander Stab also said Trump’s and Putin’s telephone conversation was a step towards the right path, but claimed that it was Russia to end the offensive.
“The answer to the proposal of the US President is only yes or yes,” the Finnish president said. Nothing but if there are no conditions for it. Ukraine accepted a ceasefire without any condition. “If Russia refuses to agree with it, we must intensify our efforts to strengthen Ukraine and increase pressure on Russia to persuade them to come to the negotiating table.”
