The Russian Defense Ministry announced Saturday that army forces continued their advances in Corsk in the country, capturing the settlements of “Zaulshanka” and “Ribbanin”, according to Mehr News Agency.

According to the media, the incident was carried out by the continuing Russian operations in Ukraine by the forces of the northern unit.

The Russian Defense Ministry had earlier released a report on the progress of special military operations and key achievements of the Russian Armed Forces.

Dimitri Medvedev, deputy head of the Russian Security Council, had earlier warned Ukrainian forces present in the area, referring to its military advance in the Korsk area.

Previously, Russian President Vladimir Putin had guaranteed Ukrainian forces near Korsk that they would survive if they surrendered.
