Foreign Minister Abu Mohammed al -Julani arrived in Iraq an official trip in Syria, according to Mehr News Agency. During the trip, he met with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein.
At the meeting, Hussein stated that the common dangers threaten Iraqi and Syrian society.
At a final press conference, he said he had discussed with the Syrian delegation about the formation of a joint operation room to counter the ISIS terrorist group.
Fouad Hussein also announced the examination of ISIL’s movements with the Syrian side and the idea of forming a joint operational room to counter the terrorist group, saying that Iraq’s experience in dealing with security challenges could also be useful for Syria.
The head of the Iraqi diplomatic apparatus said that instability in Syria will also directly affect the situation in Iraq. He welcomed the formation of a Syrian coastal investigation committee and expressed hope that the results of the research committee would be in line with internal peace and stability.
Fouad Hussein said that ignoring any group of society could lead to chaos and insecurity in society that terrorists will abuse.
