Chinese sources reported an important meeting on Iran’s nuclear case in the country, according to Mehr News Agency.

Chinese state television announced today that senior Iranian, Russian and Chinese diplomats gathered in Beijing to discuss Iran’s nuclear case.

The meeting is attended by Sergei Ryabkov, Kazem Gharibabadi and Ma Javuso, Russian, Iran and China foreign ministers.

The focus of the top three -country diplomats meeting is on developments related to the nuclear issue and the lifting of sanctions.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning said the meeting was one of China’s most important diplomatic efforts aimed at strengthening consultations and providing conditions for resuming negotiations as soon as possible.

He added: “At the present point, we believe that the parties must restrain and prevent the situation from being intensified on Iran’s nuclear case and not to confront the conflict.”

Mao Ning emphasized: “We honestly hope that all parties will move in this direction and turn to confidence and resolve doubts.”

China’s CCTV TV announced that three sides were discussing the nuclear case.
