Trump’s comment on Iran, Russia and China meeting in Beijing
The US president says Iran, Russia and China may consult in Beijing.
US President Donald Trump reacted to a meeting of senior Iranian, Russian and China diplomats held in Beijing on Friday, according to ISNA.
“Maybe they are going to talk about non -programs,” Trump said in response to a journalist’s question on Thursday evening. “They may talk about reducing tensions about nuclear weapons.”
Iran has repeatedly stated that it does not seek to build nuclear weapons and these weapons have no place in the Tehran defense doctrine.
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baqaei had announced that Iran, China and Russia’s trilateral meeting would be held at the Foreign Ministry’s deputies, focusing on developments related to the nuclear issue and lifting sanctions.
According to Baqaei, the discussions, which are planned in the context of Iran’s continuous consultations with various parties, will discuss other issues of interest to the three countries, including regional and international developments, as well as cooperation issues in the form of Brix and Shanghai.
According to the report Fox NewsThe US president, who hosted NATO Secretary -General Mark Route, said he and Russian President Vladimir Putin once had serious talks on nuclear weapons, and if he had again become a chief of staff and “fraud” would have been a Russian disarmament.
“I think we could reach an agreement with Putin about reducing tension and disarmament because the power of nuclear weapons is very devastating,” Trump said.
The US president also claimed that China may reach the United States within five years as they are rapidly developing their nuclear arsenal.
FoxNews reports that Russia is expected to have 2,800 and the US with 2,800 nuclear weapons, but China is in the third place.
Trump also desired for a nuclear conversation with North Korea, saying, “I have a great relationship with Kim Jong Un and we have to see what happens.”
