The US Secretary of State continued: “Negotiations is the only solution to the Ukrainian conflict.” Washington has talked to Kiev about territorial privileges. No action has been taken to lift US sanctions against Russia yet.

Marco Rubio added: “The issue of EU sanctions on Russia and blocked assets will be discussed in future talks.” If Russia agrees to the ceasefire, it must be determined to know what Moscow and Kiev trust in the field.

“The clashes are easily monitored by the satellite,” he said. A preventive threat to take action against Russia if it fails to agree with the ceasefire is non -constructive. We are pleased that Kiev is sitting at the negotiating table, if Russia says yes, Washington will do whatever it can to advance the dispute resolution (between Moscow and Kiev).
