Churchill’s nephew’s criticism of his uncle’s comparison with Zelksky
James Spencer-Conchill, a relative of Winston Churchill, has challenged the comparison between his great uncle and Zelnsky. At the same time, after the tension between Zelksky and Donald Trump, Britain has reaffirmed its position as one of Kiev’s main supporters.
According to RCO News Agency, James Spencer Churchill responded to a tweet by former British Conservative Party chief Michael Ashraf, who compared Ukraine President Winston Churchill and Ukrainian President Walodimir Zelksky.
“As a war leader, I am sure that our great Winston Churchill is proud of Zelnski,” Ashkraf wrote in his Saturday (Twitter) message.
Criticizing the comparison, Spencer Churchill said that Ashkraf used Churchill’s name to justify the Ukraine War and in response to the issue, he wrote in X: “I do not agree with Lord Ashraf. Churchill was my great uncle and I knew him well. “Lord Ashraf, abusing Churchill’s name, seeks to justify such madness and killing in Ukraine.”
Following a verbal altercation between US President Donald Trump and his Vice President JD Venus with Ukrainian President Walodimir Zelkski in the White House, Britain is at the center of Kiev.
Zelksky’s trip to the White House, which was to sign the agreement of the country’s natural and mineral resources, became a stressful verbal dispute.
Subsequently, Zelnski went to England to meet Prime Minister Kerry Starmer. Starmer announced on Sunday that London and France are ready to lead a coalition to provide Kiev’s military aid, including dispatching forces and fighters.
