NATO Secretary -General Alert to Zelnsky after a dispute with Trump
The NATO Secretary -General warned Ukraine’s chief that he should find a way to revive relations with the US president at the White House.
According to RCO News Agency, NATO secretary -general Mark Route said today (Saturday) that President Walodimir Zelkski said he had to find a way to revive Trump after his dispute with US President Donald Trump last Friday at the White House.
Zlansky, who had traveled to Washington last Friday to negotiate with Trump on an agreement on the issue of mining rights in Ukraine in exchange for financial and military assistance and security guarantees, was almost unofficially removed from the White House.
Their visit became chaos to the world in which Trump was angrily addressed to Zelksky.
The dispute began where Zlenesky was cut off when US Vice President JD Venus was defending Washington talks with Moscow to end the war. The Ukrainian president described the Russian invasion of his country and asked, “GD, what kind of diplomacy do you expect from me?”
Venus accused Zelkski, instead of thanking Trump for his support, placing the conversation in front of the American media.
The US vice president also told Zelnski that “you were sending task soldiers to the front line because you have a problem of manpower.” Venus’s reference to the severe shortage of combat force that weakened its position in the field.
The tensions rose when Zelksky asked Venus if he had visited the forefront like other US lawmakers and officials, and Venus replied: “You bring them to an advertising tour.”
The NATO Secretary -General said in an interview with the BBC on his phone call to Zelnski on Friday: “Zelnsky’s president is a way to revive relations with the US chief and with the country’s high -level team.”
He described the visit of Zelnsky and Trump as “unfortunate”.
Zelnsky wrote in a message on his page on the X -Social Network: “Americans are very important to help our survival, and I admit it.” Despite our tension conversation, we remain strategic partners.
“I respect the President and the American people, and I think we have to be very open and honest and I’m not sure to do a bad job,” he said in an interview with Fox News about his behavior with Trump.
