Switzerland on March 5 hosts a conference on occupied Palestinian territories
A spokesman for the Swiss Foreign Ministry said Bern has invited five countries to participate in a conference held on March 6 on the situation of civilians living in the occupied Palestinian land.
As the ceasefire began in Gaza, the Zionist regime has destroyed several camps in the occupied western coast in recent weeks, raising concerns about the future accession of the area.
Zionist Minister of War Yasrail Katz has ordered the regime’s forces to prepare for a “long -term stay” and said the camps would be cleared next year and that its inhabitants were no longer allowed to return.
A Swiss Foreign Ministry spokesman said: “Following the invitation from the UN General Assembly, I confirm that the conference of the senior parties to the Convention on the Fourth Geneva Convention will be held in Geneva on March 5.”
The Fourth Geneva Convention is part of a series of international treaties that reached an agreement in the year after World War II and defines humanitarian support for civilians living in armed or occupied areas.
The UN General Assembly called on Switzerland to organize the meeting last September, when the Gaza war continued.
The Swiss Foreign Ministry also announced that similar meetings were held in years 1, 2 and 2.
