The deputy head of the Russian Security Council said the Comprehensive Partnership Treaty between Moscow and Pyongyang is aimed at implementing an independent policy aimed at protecting independence and sovereignty.
According to RCO News Agency, Russian Security Council Deputy Director Dmitry Medvedev said today (Wednesday) that the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty between Russia and North Korea is in line with Russian values to implement an independent policy aimed at protecting independence and sovereignty.
“This treaty fully complies with our joint request to pursue an independent policy to protect our sovereignty.”
The deputy head of the Russian Security Council added that the comprehensive strategic partnership agreement signed in year 6 is the beginning of a new period in relations between the two countries, and the parties expect to create a serious motivation for the development of trade and economic cooperation.
“Today, Russia and the Democratic Republic of Korea (North Korea) stand together and resist the pressure of various destructive forces,” said Medvedev.
