Saudi Defense Minister Khaled bin Salman met with his US counterpart Beit Hegst in Washington, according to Mehr News Agency.

The images released by the news channel show that Ben Salman was welcomed by the US Department of Defense (Pentagon).

This is the first official visit of a Saudi official to the United States since US President Donald Trump came to power.

The purpose of the meeting is to strengthen bilateral relations and examine issues of joint effort between Saudi Arabia and the United States.
