Russian Foreign Minister will go to Ankara tomorrow – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will make an official visit to the Turkish capital tomorrow Monday, according to Mehr News Agency.

According to diplomatic sources, Lavrov will meet with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan as part of the trip.

The parties will discuss bilateral cooperation, especially trade, energy and tourism, and will consult with diplomatic efforts to stop the war in Ukraine.

The Turkish and Russian foreign ministers will evaluate recent calls between Moscow-Washington and the aid that Ankara can provide in the process.

Hakan Fidan will emphasize Türkiye’s readiness to host direct talks between Russia and Ukraine.
