Bloomberg: The US does not lift Russian sanctions yet
Bloomberg wrote today (Wednesday) that the US Secretary of State told European allies that at least until the agreement to resolve the Ukrainian crisis, the Trump administration would not lift sanctions against Moscow.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio raised the issue of failing to lift sanctions against Russia during a phone call to his European counterparts, the News site also wrote.
The phone came after Rubio’s interview with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Riyadh Saudi Arabia.
On Tuesday, Russian and American delegations led by Lavrov and Rubio met in Riyadh and commented on joint concerns between the two countries and Ukraine.
They also agreed on action to resolve the Ukrainian crisis.
