Seven passengers were killed in a bus attack in Balochistan province, Pakistan, according to Mehr News Agency.
According to Reuters, the terrorist attack took place in the Barhan area. The Baluchistan border province has become the scene of clashes between insurgency and terrorist groups.
Pakistani Sun Alam, a senior executive official, said a group of about four gunmen stopped buses and vehicles, reviewed the documents and identification cards of passengers and occupants and fired at seven passengers.
Khadem Hussein, a Balochistan regional official, also said that the killing took place on the highway between Barhan and the city of Diri Khan in southern Pakistan. No group has been responsible for the attack yet, and the motivation is vague.
The incident occurred a day after the explosion of a car carrying mine workers in Pakistan, killing at least four people and injuring four people.
