“France has no plans to send troops to Ukraine,” the French president said in a statement.
According to RCO News Agency, French President Emmanuel Macron said Tuesday night: “France does not intend to send its troops to Ukraine.”
“I have never announced the deployment of forces from France to Ukraine,” Macron said in an interview with the French regional press published in the La Deppes newspaper. “France is not ready to dispatch.”
The French president’s remarks that his country was not ready to send troops to France has previously reported that France’s readiness to send at least 10,000 troops to Ukraine as peacekeeping forces.
