Zelnsky goes to Saudi Arabia after tomorrow’s talks
A spokesman for Zelkski said the Ukrainian President will go to Saudi Arabia on Wednesday after a meeting between senior US and Russian officials.
Recently, Ukrainian President Walodimir Zelkski recently announced a trip to the United Arab Emirates and Turkey without mentioning history, adding that he had no plans to meet Russian or American officials.
Ukrainian Presidential spokesman Sergei Nikiforov said Zelkski is due to go to Saudi Arabia with his wife.
His trip comes a day after Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov meeting with US officials as part of what the Kremlin says is efforts to repair Moscow relations with Washington.
Meanwhile, Zelnski said that during his trip to the UAE, he had a “meaningful conversation” with the UAE chief Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The UAE has played an important role in facilitating the exchange of Russian and Ukrainian prisoners, and Zelnski says mediation of the UAE has saved many lives.
