Declare China’s readiness to develop cooperation with Ukraine
In a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart, the Chinese Foreign Minister said Beijing is ready to cooperate with Kiev to eliminate undesirable factors, advance bilateral relations and develop business cooperation.
According to RCO News Agency, a meeting between Wang Yi and Andrey Sibi, Chinese and Ukrainian foreign ministers took place on the sidelines of a Munich security conference in Germany and on Saturday.
“In recent years, China has been the largest business partner in Ukraine,” the Chinese Foreign Minister said in a statement. “This has not been easy in the current situation, but it reflects the potential and opportunities of cooperation between the two parties.”
“China is willing to cooperate with Ukraine to eliminate undesirable factors, promote bilateral relations and develop business cooperation,” he said.
Beijing hopes to reach a durable, sustainable and binding peace agreement on Ukraine and support all efforts in this regard.
The Chinese Foreign Minister also noted that Beijing continues to play his constructive role in the political compromise of the Ukrainian crisis and achieve peace.
Wang Yi also continued that the group called “Friends of Peace” on the Ukrainian crisis will continue to cooperate on a consensus on the development of negotiations and peace process on the Ukrainian crisis.
