Panama President Jose Raul Mulino announced on Friday that he had sent two immigrants to Panama within the framework of an agreement with US President Donald Trump.
According to RCO News Agency, The first flight from the United States to Iran, Afghanistan, China, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Vietnam arrived in Panama on Wednesday.
At a News conference, Mulino announced that the other two flights will be landed soon, and that the US will send a total of 5 people to Panama during the three flights.
“Through a plan to cooperate with the US government, a US Air Force flight with five different nationalities around the world reached Panama,” he said.
The US Department of Homeland Security has not yet responded to the report.
Molino also announced that the memorandum of understanding signed with the US Department of Homeland Security in July may be expanded to include Venezuelas, Colombians and Ecuadors.
