Macron: France is ready to expand its struggle against ISIS in Syria
The French president, in support of the former Syrian al -Qaeda leader who had previously worked in ISIS, claimed that “France is ready to expand its struggle against ISIS in Syria.”
According to RCO News Agency, French President Emmanuel Macron said in an anti -Iranian statement on Thursday evening, “Syria should not see the return of Iranian militants.”
In support of the Syrian interim government, which is headed by the head of the al -Sham (al -Qaeda terrorist group in Syria) by Mohammed al -Julani, he claimed: “The struggle against ISIS must continue.”
“The Syrian government must consider the inherent will to fight ISIL,” Macron said, without mentioning Al -Julani’s history, which was itself one of the ISIL commanders.
“France is ready to expand its struggle against ISIS in Syria,” he said.
Since the fall of Bashar al -Assad’s government by armed opposition and the emergence of a new government with al -Julani, Western countries, who had previously been awarded for any information about his location, have immediately covered the history of his terrorist acts and his companions.
Macron’s anti -Iranian statements against Iran, according to officials in the region, including Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Xia al -Sudani, have always been present in other countries, including Syria, to combat terrorism.
On the other hand, the presence of Iranian military advisers in Syria was at the invitation of the government, while US forces occupied the country’s oil resources.
