The Venezuelan State Department described the seizure of a plane by the Dominican plane as “cruel theft” at the request of the US government, according to the Mehr News Agency.

The Venezuelan Foreign Ministry issued a statement: “We condemn the cruel robbery of Venezuela’s aircraft.”

Local sources in Washington reported earlier that the United States seized the second Venezuelan state aircraft in the Dominican Republic.

This is the second time in six months that the United States is confiscating Venezuelan state -owned planes under the pretext of sanctions against it.
