Slovakia: Europe should not have the burden of support for Ukraine alone
If the new US government supports Ukraine, Europe should not bear the burden of support for Kiev alone.
According to RCO News Agency, Slovak Foreign Minister Yura Blanchar today (Friday) announced that if US President Donald Trump stops support for Ukraine, the EU should not assist Ukraine all.
On November 7, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fitsu said some European politicians have suggested that if the US aid to Kiev in the Trump administration, the EU would take responsibility for full financial support for Ukraine. Fitsu announced at the time that Slovak will not agree with such a plan.
“If US President Donald Trump stops supporting Ukraine, the EU should not put it all over,” Blancar said.
With Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential election, Ukraine allies in Europe are concerned about stopping Washington’s financial and weapons support from Ukraine or signing a bad deal and granting territorial concessions to Moscow.
