Grossi: We have no evidence of Iran’s nuclear weapons development – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to RCO News Agency, Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, on the sidelines of the Davos meeting in Switzerland, in a conversation with the Indian channel “NDTV” about Iran’s nuclear activities, said that there is currently no evidence that Tehran is building nuclear weapons. .
He had previously announced about Iran’s peaceful nuclear program that “we are interacting with Russia, China, and European countries, but it is clear to everyone that America is necessary. What we need is to find understanding. This will be our mission in the next few weeks.”
Grossi added that “we need to reach an understanding (about Iran’s nuclear program). This is our mission in the coming weeks.”
Even though before the withdrawal of US President Donald Trump from the JCPOA, the Agency has repeatedly confirmed Iran’s adherence to the provisions of the JCPOA nuclear agreement and has called the current situation a natural result of the US withdrawal from this international agreement, the Director General of the International Agency said: It is for Iran to reach an understanding with the Trump administration about its nuclear activities in order to avoid being dragged into another military conflict in the Middle East.
