Biden: The next American administration should help implement the ceasefire
Referring to the cease-fire agreement in Gaza and expressing hope that this cease-fire will be permanent, the American president emphasized: “The next American government must help the implementation of the cease-fire.”
According to RCO News Agency, on the last day of his presidency, US President Joe Biden spoke about the ceasefire in Gaza and the agreement reached between the Zionist regime and Hamas for the exchange of prisoners.
Biden, who has always emphasized his Zionist status in the past 15 months, has not spared any support for the Zionist regime and its crimes.
According to the reports of American publications, his government has provided the most economic, military and political aid to the Zionist regime throughout the history of the United States, so that more than 70% of the cost of the crimes of the Zionist regime, which led to the killing of more than 50,000 civilians throughout the Middle East, was paid by the government. Biden is secured.
According to the cease-fire and prisoner exchange agreement, which is the same as Biden’s proposal in May, thousands of Palestinian prisoners will be released from Gaza in exchange for Zionist prisoners with Hamas and the Zionist regime.
Biden stated in his speech: “Ceasefire and peace have finally been achieved. We are witnessing the implementation of a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of prisoners. Three Israeli women who were kept in dark tunnels for 15 months have been released. Four other women will be released soon. “Every seven days, three captives, including American-Israeli citizens, will be released.”
Without referring to the Palestinian victims of the Gaza war and the displacement caused by this war, he said: “We pray for the released prisoners. “They will have a tough road ahead.”
The current American president added: “Negotiations will begin to turn the current ceasefire into a permanent ceasefire and the second phase of the agreement. The second phase of the agreement will include the release of Israeli soldiers and a permanent end to the war.
He claimed: “In a permanent ceasefire, Hamas will no longer have the power to be in Gaza.”
Pointing to the increase in humanitarian aid to Gaza, which the Zionist regime had prevented from entering Gaza, Biden said: “Hundreds of trucks are entering Gaza.”
Without mentioning the Zionist attacks on the Palestinians and their attacks on Jerusalem and the background of the current developments, he claimed: “Hamas started this war.”
Biden emphasized: “After months of suffering, today there is finally a ceasefire in Gaza and the guns have fallen silent.”
He added: “The current agreement is the agreement proposed by me in May. I have always supported this agreement, the Security Council also supported this agreement.”
Biden claimed: “Having worked in the field of foreign policy for decades, reaching the current agreement has been one of the most difficult negotiations in my lifetime. But now, due to the pressure exerted by Israel against Hamas, with the support of the United States, we reached an agreement.”
Biden’s claim is while Hamas has always declared its agreement with the agreement presented by him in May. On the other hand, according to the Zionist publications and the officials of the Israeli regime, the current ceasefire is a “complete defeat” of this regime against Hamas.
Nevertheless, the American president said: “Some said that my government’s foreign policy of fully supporting Israel will lead America into a full-scale war in the region, but I have always emphasized that abandoning the current path (supporting the Zionist regime) will lead to a ceasefire.” It did not lead, but increased the risk of a full-scale war.
He claimed: “Now the Middle East has undergone many changes. The leader of Hamas, Yahya al-Sanwar, has been killed, the supporters of Hamas have been seriously injured by Israel and with the support of the United States. Hezbollah, one of the biggest supporters of Hamas, suffered heavy blows.
While acknowledging his support for the clear violation of the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon by the Zionist regime, Biden said: “At this moment, while pursuing diplomacy in Lebanon, we support Israel’s actions to destroy Hezbollah’s infrastructure.”
He claimed: “Israel’s military actions have been very successful. “Now in Lebanon, there is a government and a president who wants an independent Lebanon, without the interference of Hezbollah.”
This claim is made while media sources reported on the meeting and discussion of the Prime Minister of Lebanon with the representatives of Lebanon’s Hezbollah and the Amal movement in the parliament regarding the case of forming a new government in this country. On the other hand, “Nabieh Bari”, the speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, recently pointed to the formation of a new government in Lebanon and emphasized: “As long as God is in the sky, Hezbollah will also be on the ground.”
Nevertheless, while counting the fall of Bashar Assad’s government as the achievements of the Zionist regime, Biden claimed: “The Assad government has fallen in Syria.”
He further claimed: “Iran is in its weakest position in recent decades.”
Biden again claimed the success of America and the Zionist regime in confronting Iran’s series of retaliatory and legitimate attacks under the title of “Honest Promise” series of operations against the Zionist regime.
He ignored the 15 months of war that killed more than 50,000 civilians across the region and destroyed many civilian infrastructures in Lebanon, Gaza and Syria and said: “Look at the achievements of the current developments. “Now we can look for the normalization of relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel.”
Biden claimed: “The current agreement is the result of our active diplomacy and we got to this point without a full-scale war.” The next American administration should help the implementation of the ceasefire.
