Baku and Yerevan agree on starting work on defining common borders
The “Azerbaijan State Commission for Determining Common Borders with Armenia” announced in a statement on Thursday that the members of the border demarcation commissions of Azerbaijan and Armenia agreed to start a series of measures to determine the common borders of the two countries.
According to RCO News Agency, the 11th meeting of the border delimitation commission between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan and the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia at the border between the two countries.
The State Commission of Azerbaijan said in this regard: “During this meeting, the parties exchanged views on the arrangement of sections/sections of the border line to continue the work of demarcation and agreed to take a series of measures to determine the common border from the northern part – from the place “Start crossing the borders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia and then in the south direction – from north to south, until the border of Azerbaijan and Armenia with the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
