The videos of this Iranian citizen, who defended the security of the province and Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.) against the Syrian armed forces, had a wide impact among the users of social networks.
This father and son left Syria on Friday, January 21, with the efforts and coordination of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the assistance of some influential parties in Syria.
These citizens of our country were transferred from the Russian Hmeimim airbase in Syria to Moscow and handed over to the embassy of our country.
According to the News agency in Moscow, Kazem Jalali, Iran’s ambassador to Russia, after hosting this father and son at the embassy of our country in Moscow, called the effort to solve the problem of Iranian citizens abroad as one of the issues of attention and follow-up of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It was confirmed that the follow-up of the situation of Mr. Ali Akbar Abutaleb Esfahani and his son in Damascus was done with caution and in silence.
The ambassador of our country called the attacks on the officials because of the neglect attributed to these Iranian citizens unjust and said: The reason for following up on the situation of these citizens of our country was that we were worried about their lives.
The ambassador of Iran in Russia stated: The measures to save the lives of these two citizens had started before the issue was reported to the media through special communication channels, and if we wanted to publicize the ongoing measures from the first day, the lives of these Iranian citizens would be in danger and threatened. As a result, we tried not to make it public, and in this process, the security institutions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and especially the Minister of Foreign Affairs personally followed up on the issue.
While appreciating the cooperation of the Russian government, Jalali added: We had consultations with the Russian authorities in this regard, and with the cooperation of various institutions of the two countries, the issue of the transfer of two Iranian citizens was put on the agenda and completed.
