According to Mehr news agency, citing “India Today”, the incident of the collapse of the Kannauj railway station building in India has trapped more than 20 workers so far.

According to this media, so far only 6 workers were rescued from the rubble and taken to the hospital.

A senior Indian official said that the building under construction at Kannoj railway station collapsed this Saturday afternoon (January 11, 2025) and around 24 workers were trapped under the debris.

Initial images from the scene show scenes of chaos and confusion with crowds and clouds of dust.

Efforts to remove the debris and provide relief to the victims continue.
