US $8 billion plan to sell weapons to the Zionist regime
American sources announced that the US government has informed the Congress of this country’s plan to sell 8 billion weapons to the occupation regime.
According to RCO News Agency, informed sources announced that the US President Joe Biden’s administration has informed the Congress of the contract to sell arms to the Zionist regime worth 8 billion dollars.
“The administration has informally briefed Congress on a proposed $8 billion arms sale, aimed at supporting Israel’s long-term security by replenishing essential ammunition stockpiles and air defense systems,” a source familiar with the matter told AFP.
According to Reuters News agency, this contract includes fighter ammunition and attack helicopters, as well as artillery shells, and its implementation depends on the approval of the relevant committees in the US House of Representatives and the US Senate.
For months, the Biden government has been widely criticized for supporting the Zionist regime and is under a lot of pressure to impose sanctions on the sale of weapons to this regime. However, Biden, who is in the last days of his presidency, continued to ignore the criticism until the last moments. In August, the United States also approved the sale of the contract for the sale of fighter jets and other military equipment to the Zionist regime with a value of 20 billion dollars.
According to two American officials who did not want to be named, some of these weapons will be sent from the American weapons depots, but the rest will reach the occupied territories in a few months or a few years.
