Norway: The attack on Gaza hospitals is condemned – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Al Jazeera, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway issued a statement condemning the brutality of the Zionists in attacking medical centers in Gaza.
In a statement published on the X social network (former Twitter), the ministry emphasizes: Now we need urgent action regarding the restoration of activities to hospitals in northern Gaza and the establishment of international humanitarian laws in this area.
This statement adds: protecting the healthcare system leads to saving human lives. We expressed our concern and support for the World Health Organization’s statement in the UN Security Council.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway emphasizes: medical staff, patients, and hospitals are not legitimate targets of war. We support the UN Human Rights Council President Volkur Turk’s report to the Security Council.
In the end, this statement condemned the attack on civilian centers, especially hospitals and medical centers in Gaza, including the Kamal Adwan hospital in the north of this strip by the Zionist military.
In the 1990s, Norway tried to end the conflict between the Palestinians and Israel during the Oslo negotiations. Although these negotiations ended with the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin, the then prime minister of the Zionist regime, Norway continued its efforts to recognize the Palestinian state among European countries and is considered a humanitarian supporter of the Palestinian nation.
