The Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization said: These documents are political statements and drafts, which in the preliminary stage are titled “Statement on the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of World War II” and “Development Strategy of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization until 2035”. The second document outlines the main development priorities and goals of these organizations in the coming decades.
Yermakbayev said that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will pursue the goal of promoting peace, security and development within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in 2025.
He added: The Shanghai Cooperation Organization plans to actively cooperate with the United Nations, its secretariat, specialized agencies and other regional and international partner organizations. The Shanghai Cooperation Organization consists of 10 countries including Belarus, China, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Afghanistan and Mongolia are observer countries and 14 other countries are negotiation partners.
