The Federal Bureau of Investigation announced that the perpetrator of the carjacking incident in New Orleans was inspired by ISIS.
According to Isna, the Federal Investigation Department announced after its initial investigation into the car chase incident in New Orleans, USA, which left 10 dead and dozens injured, that the perpetrator of this “attack was definitely inspired by ISIS.”
In this regard, China’s “CGTN” channel, quoting an FBI spokesperson, reported: “There is no evidence that the perpetrator of this attack wore a suicide vest. But he was definitely inspired by ISIS.”
Earlier, the American network and publications reported that the suspect of the ambush incident is a person named “Shamsuddin Jabbar”, 42 years old, who had served in the American army for at least 10 years.
The American channel “CNN” also claimed that there was an ISIS flag in the suspect’s car.

This incident happened in a French-populated area, and according to local media, the driver changed direction with his car towards the crowd and ran over many people.
