NATO member ended military presence in Iraq
Finland announced on Tuesday that it has ended its participation in the anti-ISIS operation in Iraq.
According to RCO News Agency, the Finnish defense forces announced in a statement that the country’s participation in the “Firm Resolve” operation ended on December 31.
The Finnish Crisis Management Force, which had 70 soldiers at the end of this operation, returned to Finland on December 29.
However, Finland stated that it will continue to support and develop the Iraqi security sector.
