Maduro’s commitment to greater independence for Venezuela
Maduro remained committed to continuing the struggle for Venezuela’s independence in the new year and emphasized the greater independence of his country.
According to RCO News Agency, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro announced on Sunday at a year-end ceremony for the Bolivarian National Armed Forces in Caracas that 2025 is the year to strengthen cooperation between soldiers, people and police.
According to Anatolia News agency, he also emphasized Venezuela’s determination to defend the country’s interests at any cost and anywhere.
Venezuela’s president praised the country’s national armed forces for their tireless efforts to maintain peace, saying, “What’s ahead is bigger. In the new year, we will defend the country’s independence.”
He continued: “The imperialist forces are still a threat to Venezuela, but we have given them a hard defeat in the last 25 years. “We must not forget that fascism remains a threat.”
