According to RCO News Agency, the Chinese government announced today (Friday) that it will sanction seven US military industrial companies for selling weapons to Taiwan.
China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the United States has recently provided extensive military aid to Taiwan.
According to this ministry, this US action in support of Taiwan violates the One China principle and the joint statements of Washington and Beijing, is considered a serious interference in China’s internal affairs, and harms China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
In this regard, China’s Foreign Ministry announced that it will impose sanctions on seven American military-industrial companies in response to the actions of the United States.
Taiwan is a self-governing island that China considers a part of its territory and military attack is one of the ways to take it back.
Although Beijing has declared that it is against any independent relations of foreign countries with Taiwan, the United States, as the main arms sponsor of this self-governing island, has provided it with many weapons.
