According to Mehr news agency, citing Sputnik, the Russian Navy received a new nuclear submarine named “Arkhangelsk”.

According to this report, the delivery ceremony of the new Arkhangelsk nuclear submarine was held at Sumash manufacturing company.

“Arkhangelsk” submarine belongs to the fourth generation of the Yasen-M project.

Russia’s fleet currently includes four other similar nuclear-powered cruisers, the Sorodvinsk, Kazan, Novosibirsk, and Krasnoyarsk, with four more under construction.
