Putin: Russia will continue to achieve its military goals in Ukraine in 2025
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that US President Joe Biden had proposed to postpone Ukraine’s membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in 2021.
According to RCO News Agency, Putin said in the press conference after the meeting of the Supreme Economic Council of Eurasia regarding the war in Ukraine: “Russia is trying to end the conflict in Ukraine.”
Regarding the possibility of the end of conflicts in 2025, he said: “If such a thing is true, it will be sweet to hear.”
Putin also revealed that Biden had proposed to postpone Ukraine’s NATO membership in 2021.
The Russian president warned that the country will always give similar responses to attacks against its territory.
He continued: “Russia can use Orsnik ballistic missile again if necessary, but it is not in a hurry to do so.”
This senior Russian official emphasized that Ukraine cannot exist without European support.
He further stated that Moscow will continue to fulfill all the goals of its special military operations in 2025.
Putin stated that Slovakia is ready to provide a venue for talks on Ukraine and Moscow has no objection to Slovakia hosting the talks.
In another part of his speech, the President of Russia announced that the country’s economy has grown by nearly 4% in 2024.
He also stated that Russia has always supported supplying gas to Europe and depoliticizing the economy.
