Lukashenko: Belarus is ready to host Orshanik missiles
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, said on Thursday that the country is ready to deploy several Russian Orshanik missile systems on its territory.
According to RCO News Agency, Lukashenko said about this: “I think a few dozen (missile systems in Belarus) will be deployed; Then we will see what happens. “If the Russians want to deploy more missile systems, we will allow it.”
Lukashenko in response to a question in this regard, why does this country need all those Orshanik missile systems? “There is no harm in having more missiles,” he said.
In early December, Lukashenko asked Russian President Vladimir Putin to deploy advanced missile systems, including Orshnik, in Belarus. In response, Putin stated that deployment of these missiles in Belarus would be possible in the second half of 2025.
