The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia said: “The principles of solving the crisis in Ukraine, which were expressed by the Russian President, are the result of international laws and not some preconditions.”
According to RCO News Agency, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said: The principles that Russian President Vladimir Putin has developed to solve the Ukraine crisis are not preconditions, they originate from international laws.
Lavrov emphasized in the 60 Minutes program of the Russia-1 TV channel that “the Kiev regime is a plaything of the West, which should eliminate a powerful competitor like Russia from the international scene.”
He emphasized: The West wants to destroy every competitor. Ukraine has been chosen as a weapon against us.
On the possibility of a nuclear war with NATO, Lavrov said: “Russia is ready to do anything to ensure that Western taxpayers do not spend the money they are currently short on building a bunker.”
The Russian Foreign Minister also warned Kiev against carrying out terrorist acts on Russian soil. He condemned the ongoing drone strikes “which the Kiev regime deliberately attacks civilian targets”. He also called it “cruel and a direct violation of all anti-terrorism conventions.” Lavrov warned that any further action of this kind would prompt a stronger Russian response.
