Consultation between the President of the UAE and the Foreign Minister of Türkiye regarding developments in the region – Mehr News Agency RCO News Agency
According to Mehr news agency, citing VAM, today, Wednesday, UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met and consulted in Abu Dhabi.
In this meeting, the two sides discussed the strengthening of bilateral relations and the joint actions of the UAE and Türkiye in various fields within the framework of the strategic relations between the two countries.
In this meeting, while reviewing the developments in West Asia, Bin Zayed and Fidan emphasized the need to increase efforts to prevent the spread of conflict in the region, which threatens its security and stability. Also, the two sides emphasized on finding a clear process for peace that guarantees the realization of stability and security for everyone.
In addition to these recent developments in Syria, it was one of the other topics of discussion between the President of the UAE and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye. In this regard, the two sides emphasized the firm position of their respective countries towards the stability, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria, as well as supporting everything that will fulfill the vision of the Syrian nation towards security, stability and growth.
