Russia-Belarus 2025 strategic exercise will be held
Referring to the 2025 plans, the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces said joint strategic exercises with Belarus are one of the main training events for the Russian Armed Forces.
According to RCO News Agency, Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, said on Wednesday: “The main training event for the Russian Armed Forces will be the joint strategic exercises known as Zapad-2025 with Belarus next year.”
According to the TASS News agency, the head of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, referring to the situation of the war in Ukraine and Russian military operations, said: “Despite the great help of the West to the armed forces of Ukraine, the Russian armed forces continue to advance along the entire front.”
He added: “More than 190 settlements were liberated this year, and more than 4,000 square kilometers are under our control.”
Looking at the developments of the war in Ukraine and according to the media reports of both sides, the Ukrainian army is losing its forces in the east and despite the unexpected attacks on Russia’s “Kursk” and also the many weapons it receives from the west, it is able to maintain its positions. It is not, and Russian forces continue to advance in Donbass (Eastern Ukraine), although with few achievements.
General Gerasimov further said, referring to the provocative actions of the United States: “The Russian Federation responds to the tension-causing actions of the United States based on security assessments, and the Orshanik missile has been tested so far.”
The Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces pointed out: “The United States intends to create the most destructive weapons, that’s why it has withdrawn from international arms control agreements.”
Regarding the financial and military aid of Western countries to Ukraine, he said: “Military products are supplied to Ukraine by more than 30 countries, the largest number of which are from the United States, Great Britain, Germany, France and Denmark.” The total foreign financial aid to Ukraine was more than 350 billion dollars, of which 170 billion dollars were sent for military needs. Also, more than 165,000 Ukrainian military personnel have been trained according to NATO standards.
Almost 3 years have passed since the war in Ukraine and there is still no prospect of peace in this country. Meanwhile, some Western countries, especially the United States of America, insist on sending financial and military aid to Kiev instead of focusing on diplomatic solutions to resolve this conflict, and on the other hand, Russia has repeatedly pointed out that the continuation of such a process will only lead to this war. makes it longer.
